i may do that! this one is designed with hinged roof so we’ve been reluctant to add the extra weight of shingles! the big coop is extremely heavy and about killed us moving it yesterday!

too funny that my wonderful hinged roof led to my first “eggcident” today! I ran out just before dark to look for any eggs and I collected 1 from the nesting box, put it in my pocket and opened the roof on the little coop. when I leaned over to check for eggs, I cracked the egg in my pocket!!

2 more have hatched! Don't ask me what color quail colour!!!

Hope they bump the 3 Turkey eggs.. get them moving along..
