➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Kiki - you are making me so paranoid that I'm not candling until day 14, but may wait until they hatch. This is way too intense.

That is a very sweet looking thermometer! ;)

With the fan, the humidity dropped to 20%, so I added water and floating between 30 and 60, but the hygrometers have +/- 5%, so in theory, it is between 25 and 65%. On average, I'm fine.

This amazing incubator has been spot on and stable temperature wise.
I think I would die if my humidity got up to 50 or 60.

There goes my jalapeño stuffing dreams :hit
Maybe some fake jalapenos would fit but not the ones I buy here. I never even thought they would be too big for the holes. I know now.
I'm thinking of just using it as an egg holder for real.

Is the boy still there and not been processed? Those definitely are fertile.
Nope. Boy was delicious!

I think these are quail eggs.
Are they Nutty?
Yes.

He got some regular ones too..that had already been in the fridge.
Yes. That was breakfast! Delicious. The kids liked the mini eggs too. The grandkids are gonna flip.

I figured since you are so experienced, I'd be lucky to get 50% hatch rate and wanted to prove your rooster. Looks like he was doing his job.

They have looked like that since day one.
The bullseyes lie in my eggs.
They are tricky.

Sized for serrano peppers. But those are way hot. The backyard jalapeño peppers are too small to bother stuffing and on the hot side. Go good in eggs though.

It is planting time - starting peppers and tomatoes. Need to get the brassicas in the ground now that the rain let up. Raised beds. Otherwise, slime.
