My bator heating element thing turns on and off...a lot.
That is about all I know.

Well....sometimes I have to keep an eye on it and adjust the little knob. I think having my air conditioning running a lot today did something to my bator which made it turn on/run a little more.

The AC has been off for, I think, the last week.

No. Temp is good. No touchy.

The reason I ask, the temp in this one has been edging up. 100.5°F on the mercury. So I bumped it down 1/8 of a turn from start.

When testing, once the bator was adjusted to 100°F on the mercury, it stayed there for a month. Didn't need to change it.

Yes. this is what I think the digital ones do. A couple other people mention adjusting the wafer or disc type in lockdown. The eggs make their own heat at that point. But the disc should control it.

You're confusing me!
I can't learn how your bator works now.
I'm still learning mine. But crap...now I really want a new bator...that I can set and walk away from. Do you have any idea how easy that would be to use!
