➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

:barnie. Ok. Maybe not all eggs but so far my eggs...the ones that can't make it out aren't meant to be. :old

My very limited supply of eggs.
my little guy is still fighting! i’m going to have to get my heating pad warmed back up see how he does in there. he’s mad right now that I put him back in the incubator. maybe in a day or so I can try the hobbles? I just had 1 more hatch and it’s another blonde one!! looks good so far despite my humidity screwup this afternoon! :fl:fl maybe a couple more will make it out tonight! I almost candled until I saw the 2 moving!

Oh good luck Muddy! It's hard!:hugs

I had decided on strictly no assistance this hatch. They have to get themselves out. It causes me too much anxiety, and they rarely survive anyway.
One hatched with badly splayed legs.. was doing the splits. Must have come good because theres still 14 and I cant tell which one it is

My Turkey eggs feel cold today.. I'm not holding out hope :hit

My 14 babies are going great this far :wee

I came home this afternoon to a bator reading 103. I about pooped my pants. I have no idea how long it was like that or how the heck it even got like that.
I was sick.

Hopefully it wasn't long.:fl

103 won't kill them but not good that high either. Your bators 'still air', isn't it?

Yes. I was gone for about 5 hours but I don't think it could have been that high the entire time.
Back in the day, I had still air bators and operated them at 103°F, that was the reccomend temp back then...no problems had many hatches. I still have that old Brower bator.
