➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Well for the triplets I'm just using a little plastic tub thing for now. I'll be moving them out this week...the tub is already too small for me.
This next bunch...not sure yet.
I have a few dog kennels I might use for just a couple of days before I kick them out too.
I haven't really decided yet.
I'll decide once I get outside and finish all the cages.
I really am going to finish them all this week.
:fl
What happened to your bird cage thing from the first group? I like the dog kennels idea.

Can you see anything when you candle!?
no...most of the eggs were too dark to tell at day 14 candling....they are still zipping. the one from yesterday is zipping more toward the middle of the egg but this one has me worried because it’s zipping longitudinally

It is so hard top keep up with this thread. There's several more pages every time I look. Glad to see everybody is hatching along nicely.
@muddy75 congrats on the hatching. Hope the wrong end pippers make it through.
Things are not too exciting here. Keeping my humidity in range and waiting. Living vicariously through all of you with your hatches. :)

we helped both out around 11 pm. as i thought, the 1 was in the egg completely backwards! the 7 are doing great but the wrong pippers not so well. The 1 has really curled toes. we move 3 of the rowdiest to box and now have to move the other 6. not too optimistic that any more will hatch. as little as we opened the incubator this time and spritzing, adding water etc just seems too prone to shrink wrapping.

I really think, now having gone thru it myself, that the ones that can't hatch on their own just aren't meant to be. :(
