DH found the design idea from the video on installing heavy duty netting from birdbgone.com. we are planning to use zip ties for most attachment points vs the metal rings they use, but the zipper installation is definitely genius!!!

Poultry Netting 25' x 50' Heavy Knotted 1" Mesh Nets

Personally, I would have been inclined to go with 3T Products but I don't know what the final cost would be when shipping is added.

Just remember that zip ties do not have a long life when exposed to sunlight. Most of mine fail within 2 years.

Seems like nice stuff but I’m not a huge fan of netting in general. Such a pain to work with haha gets all stuck together and tangled. But then again I’ve only worked with cheap plastic generic bird netting :lau  maybe good stuff is better to work with.

The top quality netting has no comparison to the garbage stuff that they sell as bird netting to protect tree fruit, etc.

The only thing I would use it for is flight prevention out the top of the pen. Here, one must build a very stout support system to prevent a heavy wet snow from taking down both the netting and the support system.
