Maybe they practiced more in the past. You never know. Or maybe they're actually rubbish at the technical bits that take time, and they've just mastered a few melodies (not that hard to do.)
Singing does seem more like a talent thing than playing instruments, but a lot of it is definitely just how comfortable you are with it.


Too bad you aren't closer, I'd come gate-crash.

Get a pair of small flush edge dikes. Make sure that you are not cutting too close to the toe and cut a piece off. Once you have the ball open, it will quickly absorb soapy water and crumble with a slight pressure. The wetting is not necessary as you can pretty quickly crumble it off once you have the ball opened.

What is a dike?

Ummmm, a thing that holds water back in flood zones? There are a few definitions..... I'd say some kind of "cutting" tool maybe?
