āž” Quail Hatch Along🄚

Quail getting into position to break out of the egg
Best is 1st thing in the morning, so you can stare at the hygrometer & thermometer all day!!! :lau

I'm doing things differently this time too, since I've gotten additional thermometers & hygrometers in there with the eggs. We'll see if the hatch is better than last time. :fl

I'm several pages behind myself, not sure if catching up is even a realistic expectation at this point!!! :caf:th
Btw....you should see how excited my quailies were in their new homes today!!!!:wee

You might need another dirt box for the dummies so they can spread out some.

I have two dirt boxes in my coop too. I keep barely missing the picture with five birds all trying to bathe in the smallest one at the same time.

Sweet!

How are you liking the waterer things?
I like the look of those red things.
I like them, just have to make sure to use a thicker/sturdier plastic bottle, if it's too thin it'll just collapse and drain all the water out of the bottle. I have 3 kinds of waterers, all good, but I figured some would be better to keep drowning to a minimum.:gig

By the end of the day they had spread out a bit, meandering about, but at bedtime all 9 want to be in the same box.

I don't want to deal with leaks.

Which one of the above do you like the best?
