Its 13 degrees today here... Happy all my birds are indoors! Except the sparrows. I had to make a quick trip to fill the bird feeder in the front garden for them.

My quail seem to be doing just fine in the windy cold.
I've already collected one whole egg.


It's still early so we shall see if anymore lay today.


I guess now might be a good time to actually count how many quail I have left.

C6 4 I thought 3girls and 1 boy but now I'm not sure.

I live in California. You know that's the granola state, right? We're full of nuts, fruits, and flakes. (I love living in California. The nuts, fruits and flakes are some of the nicest, most interesting people around, to be honest.)

I just put 20 eggs from my grey cinnamon project in the hatcher last night. Apparently I didn't check to make sure the plug was all the way in the socket. When I woke up this morning, the hatcher was 85*
