I live in California. You know that's the granola state, right? We're full of nuts, fruits, and flakes. (I love living in California. The nuts, fruits and flakes are some of the nicest, most interesting people around, to be honest.)

My quail seem to be doing just fine in the windy cold.
I've already collected one whole egg.

It's still early so we shall see if anymore lay today.
I guess now might be a good time to actually count how many quail I have left.

My 2 coturnix pens had the only waterers that weren't frozen! They were snuggled up in a couple different places.
I had 1 chicken egg in a laying box, 1 under the goat feed trough, and 1 half eaten completely frozen on the ground!!! Idiots!

I think I must have received a double portion...
