➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Once they are grown, if you decide you don't like the colors you got, you can eat them.
We were planning on having a male with females in one cage and then have a grow out cage for meat quail.

If I'm using them for meat I don't know if I'd be too concerned with coloring, I was going to get all crazy with the coloring but I don't see the point for meat.

Some people don't like the white ones because they can't feather sex them.
I'm okay with waiting, I think. It's what I have to do with chickens most of the time. I'm kind of excited that someone so close has fertile quail eggs and I don't have to worry about shipping in the winter. I don't trust USPS, they ruin everything I order.

@Kiki do you have a turner or do you do it by hand. I'm literally thinking about getting eggs this weekend!

I think they look healthy too but It looks like the birds are mixed in the cages so you will likely get white ones too.
I like the white ones! Probably the only person who likes them. I'm going to convert a dog kennel into a quail cage and I have my chicken brooder I can use too. The chicks are moving out this weekend.
