The girl in NY is NPIP. Once MD gets rolling again with inspections, I will be NPIP too. It is a HUGE pain for someone to get NPIP because of the antigen shortage. About a week and a half ago I did see a letter from Charles River that they sent a small batch of antigen out and they were going to start mass producing it again

OMGOODNESS, that looks like my cabinet!

This will make you feel not as bad about your pharmacy cabinet... This is 1 month worth of Veletri. We have to sort it out into baggies every month. I have to mix this medication by myself every week I make 8 days of it, I've been doing it for 10 years so this is nothing to me...

At first I thought it was a bit of stuff just sitting on a table & then noticed it was all spread across the floor, that changed the perspective a bit!

Is you coop built?
Is the brooder set up?

Not yet but it’s still fine. I think I’m going to today though. Part of the reason I haven’t yet is because I wanted to wait and do them all at once but I haven’t set up the other betta tank yet.
I think I will today though.
Still need to get the big one out of the car too

I've seen a lot of states that require NPIP and AI clean, but here in MD, AI testing is automatically part of the testing required for NPIP. I thought all states were the same on that since it is a national program. I guess not.

Anyway, my birds will be tested and certified for both.

Yeah I don't know much about testing because I don't get my flock tested because I really have no reason to. I just know about the requirements because I was having a hard time finding eggs on BYC.

I wanted to get quail eggs and everyone told me to go to Myshire so that's what I'm doing

The NPIP program is a federally required program for every state. Other than the bare basics, each state sets up its own program with its own requirements. AI testing is becoming required by more states all the time but is not a requirement of most state's NPIP programs.

I made it almost an hour but then caved.

But I actually think I might shower and go to the store. It’s raining now so can’t walk. But I don’t really need to go to the store right now. I mean, I do need feed eventually but still have enough for a little bit, I think I just want to go as an excuse because I don’t want to do stuff here so I figure I’ll do something else instead. which I do technically need to do but doesn’t need to be done right now.
