I think about 8 or 9? I'll get a better idea when they've finished hatching.

I spent a fair amount of time frantically moving chicks from the incubator to the brooder this morning. I left the ones that were still really wet, and I counted as I moved. There are 27 in the brooder right now.

You know what I wasn't meaning fast as in they hatch quick. I was meaning that they zoom around the incubator really fast after they hatch which makes it hard to catch the dummies quickly to move them.... Without someone jumping out of the incubator.

You know, I kept hearing people say that, but it never seemed to happen for me. It seemed like they always took hours between each hatch. Then this hatch happened. I went to bed expecting to wake up to maybe 3 or 4 chicks. I was not expecting 25!

All of my hatches have varied.
Some slower than others.
Usually takes about 24 hours from the first one to pop out to the last one.
