i just again traveled through her neck of the woods....i always said i was going to try to meet her sometime when i was down that way....and then she up and disappeared!

My "quail dog" just came and growled & barked at me until I'd go with her into the "infirmary"......
My scalped birdy was pacing the floor beside her tote/temporary home. She must feel a bit better since she's decided to fly again.

i seem to remember you as the one who started this whole see how many we can hatch deal!!! only 8 batches.....you definitely need to up your game for 2020!!

Quail meat not so much.

So the quail hatchings will be smaller to replace the egg layers & my meat. That and following @BantyChooks lead, huge hatches herald havoc.

I am enjoying quail cabbage stir fry.
