I'm setting dome Ps, Hs snd some Ts tomorrow.
The Ts are going to be from Pansy hens and the Tibetan male.
They better be fertile.

I think you should wait to butcherI just saw lacy bird trying to mount one of my falb fee hens. I guess he's a boy. I'm really surprised that he's getting along so well in the pen that he's in. He's never crowed, and silver boy never crowed with him in there. There are six hens and two boys in there rather than seven hens and one boy.
Edit: And still only one egg a day out of that pen, and they're not fertile. Maybe I should off the whole bunch and start over with the younger birds.![]()
Yep no problem I found out what eggs belong to the silver tuxedo female so I’m saving those up to set after this hatchThanks.

How long do you think I should wait? The pen that I'm just not getting much out of has my falb fee hens and a couple of others that were hatched in July. I'm just frustrated with months of just one egg a day, sometimes two, and no fertile ones.I think you should wait to butcher
And I’ve been getting some really big eggs from some females I think I’m going to set those as wellThanks.

Did you vent sex them all to make sure they're girls & not a pen full of boys? How long do you think I should wait? Red rooster is going to go this weekend because I know I don't want to breed him.
3 of them are falb fee, which are feather sexable. Definitely hens. The other two I got from someone else, but they have not exhibited any roo behaviour since July.Did you vent sex them all to make sure they're girls & not a pen full of boys?
Got 7 quail eggs & 4 chicken eggs today (2 didn't make it in time for the photo shoot).
