I candled one of the lighter shelled button eggs and I could see a little pulsing blot with some veins spidering out from it.

I think I have baby fever from all these quail chicks. good thing I have chicken chicks! they’re lanky teenagers though now at five and a half weeks old and past the adorable phase (though I still think they’re adorable) but I’ll get my adorable fix again soon enough.

I set the most eggs from a cage I didn't send to you.
I thought for sure these were not going to be fertile yet or only half of them.
That goodness I picked up that dog crate.
I better get busy wrapping it with hardware cloth. Man I hate working with that stuff.

62 eggs set this morning. 20 Falb Fee, 20 Grau Fee, 20 Pansy Fee, and 2 from my own hen that, if fertile will be a cross of Falb Fee and Silver. I doubt they're fertile, though.

Baby bunnies have arrived! They are big and moving a lot!! We are guessing 4 kits but didn’t want to disturb too much as they are only 12ish hours old!

There are only 2 eggs left unhatched in the bator, it is day #18 today.
45 went into LOCKDOWN
43 went into the brooder (so far)....

There were still a few in the bator fluffing when this pic was taken.

That's an amazing hatch rate! The best I've gotten is 43 out of 60, but those were shipped eggs.
