➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I'm feeling sick.

When I use the real flashlight I don't see this:
Detached crapola.

QB#9 Malted Milk Ball Day 7 update:
29 started with 5 fresh and 24 refrigerated

From the 5 fresh eggs:
B1 & HG developing.
T was clear
B2 & P have bloodrings

From the 24 refrigerated eggs:
9 developing HG
1 with a bloodring
14 clears

Totals:
11 developing and good movement of on most of these. The little swimmers are going at it.
18 pulled

Added 12 QB#10 Set1 Myshire Jumbo eggs. Only one hen laying, so these are all brothers & sisters. A little past the 10 day window, but Valentine's Day Hatch.

The auctions for the live birds seem to be going well. I have too much fun hatching and I don't want to think what shipping would be for them.
I don't think I'd ever buy a shipped live quail.
Seems way too silly to ship them.

40% good better than a zero.

This is better than the NN hatch (3 out of 25 shipped eggs). I'm still surprised that it wound up 2 pullets and 1 cockerel.

1. it is winter and fertility is a question.
2. handling issues (including the refrigerator here)
3. I'm hoping for better than 50% hatch rate of developing eggs, but anything over 3 chicks is langiappe.
4. This is a test. This is only a test. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
