i’m really hoping for several scarlet tuxes!! i think this is just a standard tux assortment so probably not any silver tuxes ☹
My previous HG hatch I got a bunch of tuxes, since i had an entire tux breeder pen. I just don't know where all the weird white ones came from, one has light tan on its back.

@Kiki I saw your feed sheets. I feed my quail a Gamebird starter from MFA. It specifically says for turkeys, pheasants, quail and chukkers. It's 30% protein and it says to feed for 8 weeks. Did you want the tag info or were you just getting a general idea of some feed? I saw you had some lower protein options from MFA already.

Yep @Kiki I did it!

I set some freaking quail eggs!!!
Just 10 from my favorite 2 pens... they are leaving tomorrow so it's a sentimental hatch...

Plus possibly 12 bantam eggs...
oh and 4 guinea eggs...

That's about it :barnie ...

Yep, that's 16~18 days... and 21 days... and 28 days.... :he

I took my turner out this morning so the countdown clock is officially running!! :wee
at the same time i’m not a happy camper as school is closed today because of just a dusting of snow!! my poor mini waited at the bus stop for 20 minutes and I could’ve slept in!!! :he:th

I’m not hatching them yet as she’s not laying but when I’ve searched about hatching Bobwhites, the suggested temp and humidity varies from what people say and all the books I have on it are ancient and don’t really give any info on Bobwhites.

For hatching my Coturnix always had 37.5 degrees for the temp throughout with 45% humidity, then on day 15, humidity up to 65%.

That’s always worked perfectly for my Coturnix but people say Bobwhite are different!

What do you guys suggest for temperature and humidity for Bobwhites? (Turning the same amount of times also?)

Just wanting to make a note before the time comes :)

I say run your incubator the same... If it worked for you before don't change.
Eggs are eggs.

Although I wouldn't run my incubator with that high of humidity.

Ah thankyou, I suppose I’ll give it a go and see what happens!

I have had people say lower the humidity but for me, it’s worked with no issue

They shoot out like peas!
