I had one cross my entire yard and end up on my roof. I've had three go over an 8' fence into the neighbour's yard.

same here.....that’s basically how i got my numbers! there were a bunch being overly “flighty” in the aviary tonight at feeding time! not sure if it’s something with the weather or what but even DH mentioned the difference!

At first I thought it was her brains.


I can't even look at the pictures....makes me sick.

Last night I just moved her into a cage by herself.
This morning she's up running around like nothing happened to her.
And this morning I saw that big dick head chasing another female who looked terrified so I removed her and added her into this cage with broken head for now.

is this his first and only offense?? maybe consider moving this one out and giving him another chance?? i’ve had a few hens that refused to submit/mesh with any male.......

Yes this is his first offense.
He lived peacefully with three other hens until last week.
He has new girlfriends now and I thought they were getting along fine up until yesterday.
