I feed my birds chicken scraps, leftover ham bones, you name it.

I feel like “real” meat is better than “porcine meal” and such. Maybe I’m just being picky.

5 eggs left in the incubator. 2 have pips (1 with movement, the other not), 2 I think are dead, 1 I'm really not sure about. So, expecting one more hatch, 2 more maybe?

So my husband graciously picked up feed for me and I sent a pic of my first and second choices for him. The guy says they just got my first choice in stock but when he brings it down from the warehouse says it is their house version they mix themselves but otherwise the same. After I opened it I realized it is exactly the one I DIDN’T want.
It is a powder (mash maybe?) and full of animal protein. Anyone else not like feeding animal byproducts to their birds or is it jut me?

4 eggs left. I don't expect these to hatch. 1 has had a pip for well over 24 hours and shows no signs of life. The other 3 don't even have pips, internal or external.

50 total chicks hatched so far, 1 had to be culled (one eye, scissor beak), 1 managed to commit suicide by getting stuck under the waterer (I have no idea how).
