Quail getting into position to break out of the egg
I'm keeping a close eye on him...this first one.
He internally pipped this morning.
I am pretending he is going to follow my regular timeline.
External pip tonight/early morning and hatch tomorrow night.

Do these dummies come out quicker after external pip?
I don't think so. I've only done the one hatch, though, so I'm hardly an expert.

They are right on Kiki schedule.
#1 just made the external pip within the last hour.
#4 is internally pipped.

You're going to die when you hold the first one. They're just so tiny and cute!

1 serious external pip...you can not see it unless you candle though. He will be out soon.

2 internal pippers

1 ughh not looking too good:
I think he might have died.

I do much better at this lockdown business when I stay out of the house.
As soon as I get home I pace back n forth... constantly checking.

It's so weird that you can not see the external pipper almost zipper's crack by staring at the egg. I'm going to have to candle these constantly....I see it coming.

At least you should be adding to your Fitbit steps.
