And nah, not a meat bird. A cockerel that I’m pretty sure developed Marek’s and was getting worse and worse so I put him out of his misery today. He couldn’t even walk. Was still crowing and eating but I knew that was no life for him.

My dad actually was supposed to do it but he messed it up so I immediately stepped in and ended it.

It was one of the ones that I hatched too so it’s worse. But when I saw him suffering and then saw it going wrong, I just stepped in right away and didn’t even think about it!! It was over pretty fast.

I just hope my favorite boy doesn’t get it next.
