I had to clean the brooder again, and Duckling caught the chicks. She checked their chests, and told me if they were boy or girl. I might only have 2 or 3 girls. It’s what I hoped for, but it means I really do need to keep them inside a while to ensure I can get fertile eggs to breed more, to set more, to get more girls, to get more fertile eggs, to set more, to get more girls...

At 6 weeks I checked and had 4 girls out of 13. At 8 weeks, I have 6 girls. They can be sneaky.

Mine was one that they were backordered on. I ordered them on April 20th.

I just sexed the rosettas, one of whom is somehow a tuxedo even though I don't think any of the parents were, @Kiki can correct me if I'm wrong about that.

I got unlucky. Four cocks and one hen. Gonna have to rehome three of them, I guess.

Both pharoahs are hens, though. I'll have to give one to the lavender cock and one to the Rosetta Tuxedo cock that I'll be keeping and then they'll each have two hens for now.

I do have one that has a lot of white on it...I'm not sure I would consider it a tuxedo but I guess it could be called a tuxedo.

My Falb Fee eggs have shipped, according to a notification I just got! Hopefully they make it okay. The post office has been really slow lately. The last egg order I got took a full five days to get here, and the tracking on another order I have on the way shows that that one is likely to as well.

I'm still waiting on some eggs to arrive! got a notification (5:45pm) that they had made it to the PO here, finally, it's only been a week since they were shipped. I guess I'll set them, not gonna hold out for too much, though.
