I got cream legbars this year an de they are the funniest lookin get chickens I have ever seen.

We did have labs, O-chem stopped those and Physics moved it onto an online program through PhET.

He’s 21 1/2 inches at the shoulder already and he’s 18 weeks old. Breed standard is 23-25 inches.

I’m glad your rooster brings you happiness! Negan still drives me up the wall and the Lavender Cochin looks like he’s going to be a handful. I can never win.

You still have Negan!? my boy is soooo sweet and gentle. I had another that was a bit of a... ummm... *ahem* rapist *ahem* but I had to put him down because he got sick. Not because of that. I still liked him anyway besides that lol he was a Welsummer. My current guy and Red’s “brother” is a Lavender Orpington. So sweet. gentle giant lol he’s HUGE!! Still doesn’t crow. which is good because the other boys I had crossed so much. Constantly. Just finally started mating his girlfriend like a week or two ago but not the big girls yet. Still scared of them. he’s a big baby lol

Nahhh, they were definitely bathing. seen my chickens do it enough to recognize it lol they usually go to the garden (not planted yet and all dirt) and dust bathe in it. And one time we burned down in the middle of the yard and they went and bathed in the ashes daily for a while. They also sometimes stretch out and lay in the grass behind the garden, right in the sun, just like my chickens do. Also when the two would visit together they would both do the same thing. And they scratch around a bit too. They’re just happy and feel safe here I guess.

Houston has a saturated market. $4 a dozen. Same as chicken eggs for delectable, home raised. Seriously, check Houston craigslist and you will see several listings.
Try Overalls. They are snazzy and makes the neighbors jealous.

Gotta wear overalls because chickens peck everything. Everything. Leg hairs on up. Then the dogs poke their noses, cold, wet noses, everywhere too. Yep, try overalls.

DH did the one on my shoulder, and ankle and many of my piercings.......i also have spider on my leg where my bite is
