what about hobbes?

Ehh, I still think there’s at least some training involved to get it to play the exact song and follow all the way through instead of just stopping at a few pecks. Mine usually peck something once or twice and realize it’s not food and move on. So to get her to keep playing and focus on the piano and not her surroundings I’m sure took at least some training. I doubt you could just plop a keyboard in front of any old chicken and get them to play America The Beautiful the first try lol

Sure, we got the occasional coal mention and wanted to be on the “nice” list, etc. but it was also, and mostly, just magical and fun, exciting, enchanting, whatever to believe in it. I believed in it for an embarrassingly long time

To me, it was just a fun and happy thing rather than a threat or whatever. All the kids I’ve ever known get so excited to meet Santa, etc. like the whole idea of Santa brings them so much happiness. I’m sure some people use it as a threat but to me it’s just a fun story/fairytale like anything else.

Buts that what they want you to think they don't want to have to threaten you but they want you to be have for "santa" so they can have some sanity when you leave the house
