Okay, now that I have the *ability* to candle I am going a little overboard. I'm still training my eye on blood rings but I found more than a few so I'm pulling even more questionable ones. I think it is better than risking another oozer. I triple-checked all the ones I pulled, though, and found a couple of ones that were really just extra veiny and still squirming to put back, so now I'm paranoid I'm tossing viable ones.

Neat! I got one of those yesterday. Sometimes it's like they lay halfway between a normal egg and a soft-shell - normal shell but with no bloom/outer layer? Odd!

EDIT: It might be a celadon layer! I just also have females who do this randomly.

Leave them alone. You are over thinking it. Leave the questionable ones in five more days.
