Okay so he is currently in the brooder now. Happy as can be. He is alone as the second guy next to him passed shortly after the pic was taken. He looked fairly cramped with unabsorbed veins and his stomach was not yet healed. I noticed he deficated in the egg so maybe it got infected. For the hatched one I have a fluffy stuffed animal he enjoys snuggling and sleeping with. The 3rd malpositioned egg was a late developer so he is still in the bator. He seems eager so that is good. I hope he hatches well so they can have each other!

Just pulled my little runt out, she was bleeding from her leg. I saw the wound and put some ointment on it. She is limping and currently in a cat carrier. I don't know what happened. She is so tiny! I am afraid I have to take her to the vet.

Day 16 for me. 20 went into the incubator, pulled 2 eggs at day 10 for no development at all. So 18 total in lockdown but 2 looked like they quit, 16 that actually looked like they were going to hatch and I got to see multiple wiggling babies. Very excited! Hoping to get multiple healthy babies in the next few days, I’m going to resist helping and opening the incubator as much as I did my first hatch as I think that caused a few deaths.

Someone asked me about how many degrees different I ran the bator this time... And I don't think I answered.

This time I ran my incubator 2° higher than I normally run it.

I know for sure this egg came from a certain bird.

I need it to hatch when I can see/take it/seperate it immediately.
Maybe I should seperate it now.

36 from 90 have already hatched.
