➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Just watching my chicks ... when I relized, that I might have an albino.
What do you think? Real albino or just red eyed Cinnamon?

@Pandaisy , you got experience with Cinnamons (it is not a shipped egg, it is a HG from the Celadon roo).

I can see a pattern on the back. Which indicates that the chick is Cinnamon. Albino would be all yellow and practically blind? Your rooster is Silver, right? It could be a Silver Cinnamon. But that is just guessing. Their real color shows when the feathers are coming in.

You never know what genes they are hiding under their feathers, this is why I love hatching my own eggs . I was gifted with a Tuxedo Cinnamon from a generic Sparkley rooster and Tuxedo hen.

If the chick has some vision and can find food and water, it should be okay.

My bunny house is not even close to being done. It was 95 on Sunday and I had blisters after 5 hours of working. I actually took apart what my hubs did and redid it. He is not a builder and neither am I, but my dad is a woodworker so I know some things. I still need to do a lot to this. And the mats in front are because the door we used was from a quail brooder (I did not like it design so I am using pieces from it) they were preventing the quail from escaping (somewhat).

Wire refrigerator shelves are awesome. Bits of wire for hinges and picture hangers for closure.

Went to the local tractor place and got used shipping pallets. Broke those down for lumber. I bought hardware cloth, screws and metal roofing for this masterpiece. The paint was leftover from the house.
