Meat, eggs, and fertilizer. They’re easier to keep than chickens and require less space.

That isn’t a very nice way to ask a group of people that actually keep and hatch quail... Personally, I like the eggs, especially for baking and scrambled. I like the meat, and while they are smaller I can raise more quail meat for less money than it would cost to do broilers. I got into them because I can’t have chickens here but I really enjoy them and plan to keep them.

I honestly like my quail more than the chickens I have I wish I would’ve done quail first!

Quail eggs are great when you want to prepare a half batch of something that requires 1 chicken egg.
