I am doing my first quail hatch in the 56ex.
I donāt like the quail tray dividers.

I cracked three or maybe four eggs by that divider bulging on one side for a large egg and then it cracking another.
I no longer use the auto humidity because I run almost all my hatches dry until lockdown when I fill both wells. That personally gives me 30-35% humidity most times of the year and 50-55 at lockdown.
my first couple of times using the humidity feature it would fill constantly and get additional water on the sides because my incubator cannot reach what I was trying with a full well.
the sponge or something is important if youāre trying to hit a specific number. The increased surface area in the well will allow you to hit more of a range in humidity. What humidity has worked for you in the past in your incubator?
