Youtube guy had bantam chickens that started eating the quail eggs. Didn't work out for him. He had the chickens in with the quail aviary and the chickens got to the quail eggs first.

I have heard you and Kiki talk about them. I have put several things in my cart on their site on multiple occasions, but chickened (quailed?) out. I cant make up my mind what color I want Maybe I’ll call them and ask if I can choose the colors for the variety pack.
I didn't see buttons though. Who has a good source for those?

I don't think you wrote what you wanted to write. All colors can be seen by being looked at. Unless you are color blind, in which case, they look like the others.

She means get something that you can feather sex. The pretty ones is a guessing game until they are sexually mature and laying eggs or crowing. They can get violent.

I like the feather sexable also. And the white ones, but they are more frustrating come 6-8 weeks.

Here’s pics of Han Solo the lonely chick, and pics of his dad Aragorn, I took yesterday. I think Solo will be Rosetta ish colored like his dad maybe a little lighter (walking the line of light Rosetta and dark pharaohwith more wild markings. I couldn’t tell Aragorn had wild markings until he was about 10 weeks old, he was just dark before that. Solo has ranged pattern eyebrows, and wild pattern stripes on his back,

On a funny note, Aragorn chose a pearl male in the bachelor pad to be his girlfriend hahaha. He was snuggling, mating, offering treats, the other male seems to accept it.

She’s been very dedicated... she would starve to death/die of thirst before leaving the nest if I didn’t take her off daily to eat, drink, and poo! I don’t anticipate problems from her but will have a brooder set up just in case - I have 43 in the incubator set the same day. I’m hoping she’ll let me foster some of the others on her after hatching.
