As the others have said, spikes in temperature or humidity create the most problems for hatches. As far as humidity, I will attest to having had a 100% hatch with steady 45% humidity on the first 14 days. (I'm in Hawaii, and I'm not moving just to hatch eggs.)
Regarding temperature, I think my first hatch had spikes in temperature to about 103 degrees due to my inexperience and a poorly calibrated thermostat. As @Kiki said, not good. The hatch rate was about 20%, but some did hatch.
