Looks like a female to me.
I'd call this one a male until it started laying eggs.
But you don't give them long to lay eggs either.I'd call this one a male until it started laying eggs.![]()
I'm not keeping not obvious males or females. But you don't give them long to lay eggs either.
This only applies to the feather sexable colors.I'm not keeping not obvious males or females.
I need to be sure... Just by looking at it.
I'm going to try and wait with my current babies to be 100% sure just by looks.
I see a bump on the vent so I think I have my answer. It's not a keeper either way - its actually my smallest bird.I'd call this one a male until it started laying eggs.![]()
I had 15 snowie tuxes in the grow out, now there’s 10, plus I just saw 2 more being males today and I checked them, just starting to foam, but they’re the prettiest ones. All the lovely snowies, every single one, has been male. The hens are Italians, dirty pearls, I have an autumn amber fee+ silver. But no snowies lol. This only applies to the feather sexable colors.
I'm going to be screwed when my non-feather flexible quail hatch.
