I just ordered some jumbo eggs to hatch, do they actually grow faster?

Yes, to qualify as jumbo must be 10oz by 10 weeks.

Which waterer is that? I have the really small ones that are test tube sized, but really need a big one like the one that you have.

This isn't really big, but it is bigger than test tube size. It's small enough that the chicks can't sit in it or drown in it. I like it for those reasons and because I don't have to fill it every hour like I would have to a drown proof dish.

Nope. I don't see the need when I didn't find any warm or cool spots. I think I have two more that will hatch, which will mean only 11 of the 108 that made it to lockdown didn't hatch. Out of 120 eggs, that's over an 80% hatch rate, which is pretty darn good for shipped eggs.

One more is out. I'm waiting on one more, then I think the hatch is done, but I'll leave the incubator running for another couple of days just to be sure.

I'd call that EXCELLENT!!!!

ordered! Just what I needed, lol. So tired of changing out the water all the time...
