UPDATE:

No further hatches today! 13 of 25 quail eggs hatched, Mexican Speckled x Tennessee Red and Snowflake x Tennessee Red for a 48% hatch rate...not too bad considering the power outtage, I thought I would have lost more. Not so good for the pheasant hatch rate, 42 set, 1 hatched, all were fertile eggs and developing until the outtage. Hatch rate: 2.38%.

Hatched this little guy out with some snowflake bobwhite eggs a few weeks ago. I was just wondering what color pattern you call this and sex.

I think it's a pied but I could be wrong. Can't see the whole bird, need photos from side, front, rear and overhead to be for sure!....with no hand in the way!
ETA
- Either wait until it crows or lays an egg or vent sex, it is not feather sexable.
