➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I cut out the lumber and made the lap joints for my first Suskovich chicken tractor. I ought to have finished the whole thing but I started kind of late on account of playing with cows—well, brushing, which for me is playing. They line up and jostle one another for their turn. So cute.

They’re not really fighting... just messing around.

Anyway, I think I can get it done tomorrow—not that I can use it yet. I got my meaties Wednesday, so they may need to stay in the garage a *couple* more weeks... Then I need one for my layers and a third for the turkeys to come. I’m so glad to have a couple warm days!
@honanbm Can you please get a few of these dummies?!

I'm setting turkey and silkie eggs next, plus a few random eggs from my laying flock.
Dolly wants to see what we get. The three roos are a blue Americauna, cuckoo English orpington, and a buckeye. We are setting eggs from the Americauna, wellsummer, Marans, and Bresse. I figure since I know the mom's, we can make good guesses on the dad's once they hatch. Lol
