➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Broke down and cranked up 1 of my bators last night. Calibrated my hygrometers and thermometers.
Hygrometers are 'dead on' at 75% Rh
Thermometers are also 'dead on'.
Bator was reading a little high at 102°F by the independent thermometers. Digital reading on bator 98°F...adjusted the temp, waiting a few more hours and will check again.
I'm not going 'crazy' this breeding season, like I did last year....yeah right! :lau

Up to 8, but the last one decided to come out too early and was attached by the sac still so I had to shove his little butt back into the egg to keep cookin'.

3 pharoah, 2 italian, 1 red range/scarlet/german red thing (don't know yet), 1 silver with white wingtips (spitting image of dad and two older brothers), and 1 maybe-pearl who is of course the problem chick.

The quail is sitting up most of the time this evening. I saw her eating, and I am now thinking it is an injury after all.
I meant to tell you that I do not think I would deworm her or start antibiotics.
I would push vitamins.
