➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I hope they hatch jumbo.
:fl
Did you weigh them Kiki? Try setting only the bigger eggs, or if you really want to set them all, separate them into two groups. Bigger and smaller, then come hatch time make sure the chicks can't mix. Would need two brooders to keep them separate but you would be able to track if hatching only the bigger eggs gives you bigger quail, or faster growing quail.

I try to only set quail eggs over 13 grams, unless I'm going for offspring of a certain pair/group.

Came back from work to 22 hatched and about 3 more pipped!! Day 17 JPEG_20190429_180110_296927809015274164.jpg

Good idea but I'm done with these quail.
I'm moving on to jumbos next and I'll try things out with the Jumbo's and pearls.

I'm just hatching one last batch of my own to butcher. I don't really care if they are mini ones or not.
Just doing this one for fun.

Does this sound nutty?
