oh my!! i was only gone 3 nights and my babies have grown so much!! Official stats on Mother’s Day hatch....37/55 hatched with 5 early losses.....32 babies in the brooder at 1 week. still 8 partridge chicks and 7 pheasant chicks @2 weeks old.

@CayugaJana here are pics I promised + the wonder twins! First 2 and last one are “Egyptian” female. The 1 I’m holding and in bottom right of wonder twins pic is pharaoh male.

While sealing up the cracked egg today, I swear it was moving around. I will try to wait until tomorrow to try to candle it again.

This dummy looks like he is being punished with his nose in the corner.

They don't like me messing with them yet. They will learn.

I think I’ve candled every egg now.
One clear, and I’m still not certain of the cracked egg. I double candled, and swear I see life in there.

I think I would not handle the cracked egg as much anymore.
The more you mess with it the higher the chances are dirty germs get in the crack and kill it.
