Some people don't understand the concept of a decent time to go visiting. I've had 'friends' show up at 3 and 4 in the morning, ...in reality they were invited to come over around 6 or 7pm. Time is kinda relative to Texans..."I'll be there directly" that means an hour, a day or maybe a week!

I mean I sometimes run late to things but at most like a half hour or hour or maybe a couple hours at most. I would never show up in the middle of the night lol

Unless my friend was dealing with something and I was worried about them or if I was (but in that case I’d call and ask if I could) but those are different situations haha

Although that said I do think for first time meeting any internet people, not just people from here, it might be smarter/safer to meet somewhere public first at least once ha but then again most people here know me better than some of my irl friends and family lol

I am sad, because I love visits in all directions from a select few, I enjoy being able to get new stock, and I think shows are awesome, but most Californians will be joining you before the end of the year

I don't have nor have had any disease on my place for over 30 years, due to my biosecurity program, so it's safe to say I'm not changing anything about how I carry out that program.
I'm probably considered weird because I make anyone coming on my place, step in a pan of bleach before venturing any further than the driveway. Sorry it's the law! All my friends and the few family members I have that would be welcomed here understand it.

Hmmm that’s true. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be political or rude or anything and I wasn’t saying it was wrong or anything. Just surprising/different. Also maybe I’m too naive or have been lucky or something given I talk to all mine but I honestly didn’t really think of that with the family thing. I guess I was more assuming/meaning family you talked to or got along with. Guess I figured if someone was talking to/meeting them they must trust them or get along but I guess maybe not. Obviously different in some cases but I didn’t really think of that. Sorry.
