Yea...I need to see what's going on.
I thought it would be ok with the high temp that first morning but now I just don't think it is.
I really don't see anything going on so I highly doubt I am going to kill it by opening one.

It's super critical that the temp doesn't do that towards the end of the incubation period. I lost a whole bator of quail eggs 3 days before hatching due to a spike while I was at work. I don't know how long it was at 104°F either but they were all alive when I checked before leaving for work.

I was an idiot.
I had run the bator the whole night to triple check the temps before I put the eggs in.
When I put the eggs in with the turner that they had been sitting in I forgot that the turner motor was going to raise my temp.
If I hadn't had to leave the dang house right then I would have caught it pretty quick, but I had to leave.
