One of my new Bantam pullets laid an egg! (it’s the cream/white one)
I have comparison pictures as well.
The blue egg is Hallie’s (bantam EE), and the 2 large brown eggs are form Maddie and Opal (red sex links), and of course the bantam egg, it’s from my newest set of bantams, Missy the OEGB

And then our lovely new layer herself, Missy:

Yeah 4dozen is a bit bit overkill, I get carried away sometimes. I figure all going well might get 20 hatch out of 48, then I can keep my favorite ones.

I think I am going to move him and just three girls to a different cage and see if I can watch just the four of them better...to see what is going on.

Yeah fair enough kiki.

My first lot of quailies are 2 weeks old now, big enough to enjoy fresh wheatgrass, mealworms and crickets.
Lifes just one big old party!
I shall take a pic when my tiniest human gives me a moment.

Maybe he'll do better with just 3? Do you ever see foamy stuff around their pen anywhere?

Well I'm not sure mine are normal? LOL. I see foamy stuff almost everytime I'm out there. I *think* if you try to vent sex him you should see foamy stuff? Hopefully someone can tell me if that's accurate.
