The law doesn't dictate age, but it does say that I am not able to raise chickens on residential zoned property for slaughter.I have a question. Is the law limited to a certain age of bird? Some laws allow for chicks up to six months. Because of that, meat birds are allowed.
Unless, of course, thereās a law against butchering.

Give people a way to deal with their unexpected and now-illegal roosters, at least. 
We aren't allowed "livestock". Pets are OK. We keep a mess of Asian Ground Parrots for the eggs. I've raised two batches of CX ground parrots. In summary, who enforces this and how friendly are you with the witnesses? I mean, neighbors.
