You and @muddy75 , I am sorry it has been such a stressful batch for both of you.

Thank you @CoturnixComplex I have reached a point where i’m less neurotic during incubation but still way overthinking and “stressing” post-hatch! I ended up with 73%hatch and 53% survival so far. rates are still improving even with my issues!

At this time, the quail are in a clear bottom/wire top cage. They see and hear us. Do you guys have an issue with the babies startling when you brood them in a box or tote?

Mine are in a clearish tote. They observe back when we just look at them, but mostly continue about their usual business. Some are more sensitive about hands being in the bin and immediately move away, but they're getting more tolerant.
