@Texas Kiki I tried looking back at the weights of your first butchering. Were they about 6 ounces? These are tiny. Looking at the meat makers they are closer to a pound after processing. I'm gonna have to order some giants, aren't I?

Gonna try these and refresh my taste buds.

If I had the space and weren't a fancy color nut, I would definitely try and get ahold of the meat makers 3 lives for one meal is....not ideal for me. But my 6/8oz ones are so much happier in my relatively small cages.

Let me look...that sounds little but you are probably right.
They were not black silkie at the Veitnamese store big but I thought they were a decent size.
I had/have no clue.

The little roux I am about to process is probably only 3-4 oz. I have a son; I will keep him if he is any bigger but otherwise I am re-obtaining the strain elsewhere, I don't have the patience to start from quite that little. My only other bird that teeny is my charcoal rosetta marbled male who is too cool to eat.
