I think I would not handle the cracked egg as much anymore.
The more you mess with it the higher the chances are dirty germs get in the crack and kill it.

And...I am quite jealous.
The first few times I set my first quail's eggs they were all clear.

I agree. I would have removed it if I were not convinced it has life inside. Cracks are dangerous.

I just made my twins their adult sized feeder.

It's going to be months before they are able to use it.
I swear they are not growing even though the scale says they are.

The more I read and see on here about repairing cracks on quail and chicken eggs and they actually hatch, the more I'm thinking pheasant eggs are way more fragile. I've repaired cracked pheasant eggs with tape, wax, super glue, all to no avail. None of the eggs made any progress after being cracked and repaired....never had one hatch.
