I am mad about the sponge drowning, and the 3/4 zip I think drowned too.

No, it wasn’t even in a container. I don’t think a chicken chick would have drowned on it.
I’ve learned a lesson, but do have “the” question. I know who will answer too. I also think I have an idea of what the answer is.
Why did four chicks make it to pip, and even zip, but not fully develop?

So many different reasons. It's still impossible for me to figure out the why.

Im pretty sure it was too warm at least in spots but i wanted to see what they said too

Yup, that is the big one I think. I didn’t rotate enough.

I can honestly say that I do not think I will have this happen again.
I also actually feel pretty good about this hatch. I didn’t have early quitters, and everyone died after pipping. I believe the eggs needed rotated better, and I WILL NEVER MESS WITH THE INCUBATOR DURING LOCKDOWN UNNECESSARILY AGAIN! I will also be more careful about water, and better insulate when using central air.
