➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Lol wait til i show u how theyre growing out next wk some of them are undergoing metamorphosis. As chicks the head markings on my 5 red were 2 types and im monitoring that. Plus im positive i have one of the Tibetans with two copies like youve explained so dark u can hardly see a pattern. Ive wondered about that thing your calling dilute pharoah. I have two not pictured that are silver backed with white wings and white bellies? Its a lighter silver color than my other though... some weird things going on man

:tongue you said ud won some silver phesants eggs i was expecting to see those or what they will look like. Now that u teased u gotta share that

Those are STUNNING.

Look at the difference in the fat on these birds! All roos from the same february hatch. The one on the far right is a full brother to @Sara L's and was so round he was comical. Probably 3x as much meat as the little guy.

It has been so nice out I have had birds in the tractors all day every day! Since they're stationary at the moment while my pasture grows in I gave them a little extra shade and hawk sight protection with my maples.

Laced charcoal male I am taking pics of to sell. Someone pecked his eyelid months ago and now he looks worried 100% of the time. He is cute. And loud.

The babies are a week old. I have a little one flitting about like crazy. I have seen it hop over the others several times. Very funny.
I will watch the chicken chickies body surf across the others. Come running across the coop, do a flying leap right into the crowd. :D

The one this morning was up on the log and ran across the back of 2 others before falling into maelstrom. Seems the second one did not want to get walked upon.

Just another short week before the tractor and more room. Hang in there. :celebrate
