What do you feed?

Purina startena gamebird 30% for the first 6-8 weeks and then I taper down to 24-25% by mixing it 50/50 with the purina gamebird 19%. They don't really get treats that often but when they do it's BOSS, black soldier fly larvae (I can get fresh up here from the petstore!), and soon to be my little clover/ryegrass pasture.

Last week I found a feed store that carries the startena only an hour away instead of an hour and a half. Everyone and their mother stocks the 19% but there's a limit to how helpful that is when you can't find the other one....

I do too and without an app, jus me and the calander sometimes i cant count, sometimes i called the next day day 0 cuz it was set at midnight always something leaves me scrambling to throw brooders togther.

Let the quail hatch begin! 1 of 14 hatched a minute ago, 2 others externally pipped. Hard to tell on the rest of the eggs as the plastic viewing lid warps the light in such a way that if you blink it looks like the egg moved an eighth-inch. LOL. Always excited on hatch day

Note exactly sure hahaha....looks like both hatchlings so far are homegrown so can’t remember if I put others in bator at same time or slightly different....shipped pansies went under broodies after being in incubator for a couple days (when I lost a few to overloading)

Just pulled 3 more babies that were almost fluffy already!! If I had a few more broodies, I’d probably throw all the bators in the trash hahaha! Trying to get pics for you guys but hubby decided to tie into the electrical project today and driving me NUTS!!! Longest project in history! But almost done!
