Ewwwwwwwwww lol also poor bunny :hit also I must know WHY you took pics!? :lau

And also I wouldn’t eat a lawnmowered wild bunny lol ew but also germs and diseases and stuff ha
When processing, you get things under your nails, up your arms (depending on what you are butchering) and likely on your forehead and front of your hair.
When the mower deck is all the way down, and you hit a nest of bunnies at a good speed, things fly. I had about half of one body stuck to my hand, more in my flannel pocket... I can’t be sure how many there were because it was such a massacre.
After cleaning myself (and the shower), I decided I had to take a few photos because it was just so gross, it was cool. Morbid fascination is a thing, I suppose. It’s like eggtopsies.

Ewwww that’s literally so disgusting LOL :sick

I think I probably would have been more concerned with sanitizing myself and how gross and/or traumatizing it was than with taking pictures :lau

But I might. Idk.

I feel bad for momma. The babies died immediately. She had to find the scene.

Aw yeah the poor mother! :hit

My father did that when we first moved in. My mother and I had been watching the mama rabbit hop around the yard then take one huge leap to bring her to the nest. The babies would nurse and then go back inside the nest. Mama would one again take a huge leap
so predators wouldn't find her trail to them.

My mother and I put a little fence around the nest with an opening only mama could get through. My father knew it was around the rabbit nest. He was cutting the grass and heaven forbid in anything was on his grass. He tossed the fence aside and ran right over the bunnies - mangling ones that tried to flee. When my mother yelled at him his attitude was "so what?"

Pretty much his attitude toward his family as well. It's a cryin' shame my mother died 13 years before him. If he had gone first, she would have had some peaceful time to herself.
